So the assimilationist movement seems like its in full swing up in wet, soggy, flooded, racist Queensland these days. They’ve got a party entitled MASC and according to their Facebook page, it’s a party for MEN.
Now. Let’s be clear. I’m aware…

DRIVERS who fly Australian flags on their cars to celebrate Australia Day are “more racist” than people who do not, according to research from UWA.
I’ve noticed a lot of this on Grindr as well, with people who describe themselves as “Aussie” looking for “Aussies” but meaning “White”. For example, if you ask someone what their background is, you will often get answers like “I’m Aussie” instead of “Anglo-Saxon” because in these people’s minds, you can’t be an “Aussie” unless you’re white. Thus, even if you’re a third or fourth generation Australian of Asian descent, in the minds of the racist, you’re still not an “Aussie” because to them you just don’t look like one. And let’s always remember that a majority of these car-flags are made in Taiwan, the ultimate irony in my book.
It’s the same with the rash of “Southern Cross” tattoos that have infected our population for the last several years. It’s often a kind of blind, white patriotism that brings a person to get this tattoo. Almost exclusively these tattoos are the domain of the white Australian. Unfortunately when you observe the often racist adn homophobic behaviour of said tatted-up white Aussie, you start to realise these people do very little to promote real Australian values of freedom and a fair-go.
